Distributed green hydrogen production
Hydrogen is now becoming one of the preferred alternative for zero emissions in the transportation sector.
By using bio- / natural gas, Agri-e will supply energy (electricity, heat and CO2) to agriculture and other consumers, and produce hydrogen for transportation and industry use.
Our systems will be placed in connection with farms, greenhouses, agricultural industry and other places with access to gas.
Our solution give's green hydrogen production close to the customer/consumer.
Agri-e will be a strong contributor for solving hydrogen infrastructure, and production volume.
According to the 2018 KPMG Global Automotive Executive Survey.
“Fuel cell electric vehicles have replaced battery electric vehicles as this year’s #1 key trend until 2025”.
“There will not be a single solitary drivetrain technology: Executives project a similar split by 2040 for Battery Electric Vehicle BEVs (26%), Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle FCEVs (25%), Internal Combustion Engine ICEs (25%) and hybrids (24%)”.
A hydrogen car is a hybrid where you have a combination of fuel cells and batteries.
In the picture below you can see a simplified representation of Fuel Cell Vehicle (FCV).
The advantage is:
- same driveline for fuel cells and battery.
- zero emission.
- same driving range as for fossil fuel.
- short refuelling time.
Hydrogen can be produced from:
- hydro-, sun- and wind power through electrolyse process.
- bio- and natural gas through reforming process with carbon capture.
