Tuesday May 7, Agri-e attended the conference "Green Value Creation in Rogaland". The conference was organized by the county council of Rogaland, and gathered participants from the business sector, academia, public sector, and politicians.
The purpose of the conferences was to strengthen cooperation between the business sector, public administration and research locally and regionally, with the aim of reducing the use of resources and thus the emissions while strengthening green business development in Rogaland.
Following the conference, a separate meeting was set up with Agri-e, Norwegian Energy Solution and the Minister for Climate and the Environment to highlight the Agri-e project for the exploitation of biogas. This project is one concrete result from work by energy cluster Norwegian Energy Solutions.
Meeting had focus on Hydrogen's production from biogas, and how this can be exploited to provide zero emission solutions in maritime transport, and how this can open up to hydrogen use in other land-based heavy transport. In order to further support the cooperation across sectors, our collaborative party Norled was also represented at the meeting.
Meeting also focused on the challenges entrepreneurial companies face in terms of Financing.
